Pave Steak are a thicker cut than traditional Rump Steaks and are very versatile. The pave rump is from grass-fed Scottish Beef cattle, naturally raised on farms recognised for high standards of animal welfare. Our blackened & cold smoked beef pave steaks are brined with treacle, brushed with treacle and cold smoked. Our recommendation is not to cook them well done, but rather medium to medium rare.
Bresaola is an Italian cured meat that is sliced thin and served chilled or at room temperature. Compared with many other types of cured meat, bresaola is very lean, as it is made from a single muscle and any outer fat is removed before curing. Bresaola is a bit like a lean prosciutto made with beef and slightly reminiscent of pastrami in terms of flavour.
Serve it up really quickly in a delicious salad, just arrange the bresaola slices on a plate, folding them a little over on themselves. Add in tomatoes, a few rocket leaves and basil. Then follow up with some fresh mozzarella and drizzle a bit of oil all over.£4.95+ Add to delivery
