Fen Farm Butter 200g
A raw milk butter made by Jonny and Dulcie Crickmore in the heart of Suffolk. Made using the milk warm from milking and grass-fed cows are an ancient breed, Montbeliarde, handpicked by Jonny from small farms in the Jura region of France.
Our Bungay Raw Butter is the UK’s only raw farmhouse butter produced by using a lactic culture. It comes hand wrapped in gold paper and packed in its own beautiful wooden box. It is made by hand on the farm in the traditional way, by souring the cream using a cocktail of lactic bacteria, before churning and hand-paddling with traditional scotch ‘butter hands’ made from wood. It is the closest thing to the original Suffolk butter.

Fen Farm Dairy is an innovative 3rd generation family farm based in Suffolk, run by Jonny and Dulcie Crickmore, aiming to set the standard for dairy sustainability. In a few short years, Fen Farm products have taken the UK food scene by storm. Their Bungay Raw Cultured Butter is produced by hand on the farm. The milk comes from the happy herd of Montbeliarde cows that graze the fertile marshland of the Waveney River Valley. Fen Farm Dairy believe in the importance of connecting people to the food they eat and the farm from which it came. They also believe it is their responsibility to be excellent stewards of the land they farm and the delicate ecosystems that live there. Apart from making unique products, their mission is to become carbon negative. Almost all the energy on the farm comes from renewable sources including their unique cow-poo powered heat exchange system and solar battery storage.
